 Trotting through the sand 

The horses neigh 

Causing the driver to whip the horses-

 Velvety hide; watching this commotion 

Was a girl of seven -  "how cruel" thought she Crushing a rose growing nearby.

Eagles soaring overhead,

Sloths staring from the trees - 

At the carriage that

           Goes whizzing by.                                                                                                                                                                 

A CHILD

Lips like roses, red;

Eyes like bluebells, blue;

Sweet as honey outside;

Naughty as a monkey at home.
